Clear terms for a careful workflow.
Quarterly STR prepares reviewable support materials from the records you provide. You remain in control of review, certification, and submission to the City.
Effective July 21, 2026Agreement and eligibility
Quarterly STR is the product name used for this service; that product name does not by itself identify a corporation, LLC, or other registered entity. By accessing or using Quarterly STR, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use Quarterly STR for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.
The service
Quarterly STR normalizes booking exports, applies configured San Diego STRO reporting rules, identifies review items, and generates private review records and, when ready, supporting documents. Quarterly STR is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the City of San Diego, Airbnb, Vrbo, Accela, or other third-party services referenced in the product.
No filing, certification, or legal advice
Quarterly STR does not file reports, certify compliance, represent you before a government agency, or provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Rules and portal requirements can change. You are responsible for reviewing source records and generated materials, correcting errors, confirming current official guidance, and making the final City submission.
Accounts and security
Keep your password and account secure, use an email address you control, and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law, or address a violation of these Terms.
Workspaces and team access
Workspace owners and administrators control invitations and roles. Only invite people who are authorized to access the properties and reporting records in that workspace. A “submitted” status is a user-provided confirmation for coordination purposes; it is not verification by Quarterly STR or acceptance by a government agency.
Your content
You retain ownership of files and information you provide. You grant Quarterly STR a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and format that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. You represent that you have the right to provide the content and will not upload unnecessary sensitive information or unlawful material.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the service to misrepresent booking activity or evade legal obligations.
- Upload malware, probe security, bypass limits, or interfere with other users.
- Access another user’s reports or use automated traffic that burdens the service.
- Reverse engineer protected portions of the service except where law permits it.
Plans, renewal, cancellation, and refunds
Free-preview and founding-beta access may be limited or changed. Paid plans become binding only when checkout is available and you confirm the displayed price, billing frequency, taxes, and renewal terms. The amount and terms you affirmatively accept in Checkout control the charge. We will not bill you without an affirmative checkout action. One quarter is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Host annual, Manager Starter, and Manager Growth renew automatically each year until canceled through Billing. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not by itself refund the current charge or payment period. For an annual plan, cancellation through Billing takes effect at the end of the current paid period, so access continues until then. Account deletion is unavailable while Stripe still reports the subscription as active; wait until Stripe reports it ended before deleting the owning account. Deleting a Quarterly STR account does not itself cancel Stripe billing or erase Stripe transaction records. Saved report records, uploaded source copies, and generated outputs—including the private review PDF, eligible City support PDF, and audit CSV—remain available for 30 days after creation for a one quarter purchase and 400 days after creation for Host Annual and manager plans. At that expiration, access ends and the report-pack items are scheduled for asynchronous deletion together. Physical deletion may follow the expiration timestamp because background cleanup can run later or retry after a temporary storage failure. Limited workspace operational and audit metadata described in the Privacy Notice may remain for the life of the workspace for reliability, team activity history, and plan accounting.
We provide a full refund when you request it within seven calendar days of an initial or renewal charge and no paid report pack has been generated in that payment period. After a paid report pack has been generated in that payment period, refunds are considered for a verified technical failure affecting the paid service or when required by applicable law. To request a refund, email hello@quarterlystr.com from your account email and include the charge date. This policy does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep Quarterly STR accurate and available, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that every source format, rule change, document extraction, or portal requirement will be detected without human review.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quarterly STR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost revenue, lost data, regulatory action, or missed deadlines arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid Quarterly STR for the service giving rise to the claim during the preceding 12 months. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so applicable law may give you additional rights.
Termination, law, and contact
You may stop using the service at any time. You may request account deletion after any open Checkout is resolved, Stripe reports an owned subscription has ended, and shared-workspace ownership is transferred or the other members are removed. Account deletion is subject to the limited billing-record retention described in the Privacy Notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive. These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes will be brought in courts located in San Diego County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@quarterlystr.com.
