Terms

Clear terms for a careful workflow.

Quarterly STR prepares draft support materials. You remain in control of review, certification, and submission to the City.

Effective July 16, 2026

Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using Quarterly STR, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use Quarterly STR for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.

The service

Quarterly STR normalizes booking exports, applies configured San Diego STRO reporting rules, identifies review items, and generates draft support materials. Quarterly STR is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the City of San Diego, Airbnb, Vrbo, Accela, Google, or OpenAI.

No filing, certification, or legal advice

Quarterly STR does not file reports, certify compliance, represent you before a government agency, or provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Rules and portal requirements can change. You are responsible for reviewing source records and generated materials, correcting errors, confirming current official guidance, and making the final City submission.

Accounts and security

Keep your sign-in account secure and use accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law, or address a violation of these Terms.

Workspaces and team access

Workspace owners and administrators control invitations and roles. Only invite people who are authorized to access the properties and reporting records in that workspace. A “submitted” status is a user-provided confirmation for coordination purposes; it is not verification by Quarterly STR or acceptance by a government agency.

Your content

You retain ownership of files and information you provide. You grant Quarterly STR a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and format that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. You represent that you have the right to provide the content and will not upload unnecessary sensitive information or unlawful material.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the service to misrepresent booking activity or evade legal obligations.
  • Upload malware, probe security, bypass limits, or interfere with other users.
  • Access another user’s reports or use automated traffic that burdens the service.
  • Reverse engineer protected portions of the service except where law permits it.

Plans and payment

Free-preview and founding-beta access may be limited or changed. Paid plans become binding only when checkout is available and you confirm the displayed price, billing frequency, taxes, and renewal terms. The prices currently shown are intended launch prices, not a charge. We will not bill you without an affirmative checkout action. Recurring plans renew at the frequency shown in Stripe Checkout until canceled through the billing portal. Taxes, refunds, and any promotional terms are shown at checkout or in the applicable offer. Manage an active subscription before deleting its owning account so billing is not orphaned.

Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Quarterly STR accurate and available, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that every source format, rule change, AI extraction, or portal requirement will be detected without human review.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quarterly STR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost revenue, lost data, regulatory action, or missed deadlines arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid Quarterly STR for the service giving rise to the claim during the preceding 12 months. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so applicable law may give you additional rights.

Termination, law, and contact

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive. These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes will be brought in courts located in San Diego County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
